Limited Lifetime Warranty


At The Curtains Factory, we are confident in the quality of our products and are proud to offer a limited lifetime warranty. We guarantee that our custom made window treatments are free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you, the original purchaser, own the product. Below is an outline of what is covered under this warranty and what is not, to help you better understand your rights.

Covered by Warranty:

  • Internal mechanisms: Covered for the lifetime of the product, ensuring smooth operation for years to come.
  • Hardware and mounting components: Guaranteed for the lifetime of the product. ensuring durable and reliable installation.
  • Chains, cords, and operating systems: Protected for up to 7 years from the original installation date to ensure ease of use.
  • Motorized parts: Covered for 5 years from the original installation date, ensuring advanced functionality and convenience.
  • Professional installation: If we installed your product, we cover remeasurement and reinstallation in the event of any warranty-related issues.

Not Covered by Warranty:

  • General wear and tear, such as minor stretching, fading, or slight fabric deterioration that naturally occurs over time.
  • Damage resulting from improper use, accidents, or tampering with the product.
  • Issues resulting from prolonged exposure to the elements, including sunlight, moisture, and extreme weather, which may cause fading or deterioration.
  • Variations in color, wood grain, or texture that are characteristic of natural materials, and any natural imperfections in such products.
  • Costs associated with removal, remeasurement, or reinstallation for products not originally installed by our professional team.
  • Issues resulting from third party involvement, including unauthorized repairs, installations, or modifications.

Product Repairs and Replacements:


Given the custom nature of our designs, we will do our utmost to provide a replacement that closely matches your original product, though exact replication may not always be possible due to evolving materials and styles.

  • Repairs or replacements will be made with components of equal or superior quality.
  • If there are multiple treatments in the same room, only the defective product will be repaired or replaced.
  • The warranty on any repaired or replaced item will extend for the remainder of the original warranty period or for an additional 30 days, whichever is longer.

Refunds and Returns:


As each of our products is crafted to your exact specifications, we do not offer refunds or returns. However, we are dedicated to ensuring you are fully satisfied with your purchase, and we will promptly address any concerns.


The sole remedy available under this warranty will be, at our discretion, either the repair or replacement of the defective product, as outlined above.
